Lol.

Startup and rev clip of the Z06.

Don't worry - I'll get this thread back on track soon... just need to get the GT500 parted out and I'll start back up on the Bullitt

Yep, was pretty much a selling feature on that car for me. I really missed having a N/A car.

Looking around for parts for the Bullitt... haven't seen any BF deals yet.

What about an interior dress up kit from AM? Or some 18x7 2010 GT500 Chrome Replica wheels?

Well, L&M has a $200-off sale on their NSR GT500 camshaft set, but you need to purchase the cambshaft bolts and the modified boost actuator valve to get the discount. I've thought long and hard about the cams for the Bullitt and I am still 50/50. Not sure I want to cam the Bullitt and then do the Z06. Someone either talk me into it or out of it.

Looking for a deal on a 2.3L TVS or a Whipple 2.9L if the deal is good enough. I would spend the extra cash on the Whipple 2.9 if I don't buy cams.

So it's kind of looking like this -

TVS 2.3L (Will port, shave logos and have it powdercoated black, and ported elbow)
L&M Cams
VMP BAP
56lbs Injectors

Whipple 2.9L
VMP BAP
72lbs Injectors

Aside from that stuff, I have the exterior stuff worked out and I have a pretty sweet addition (if the deal works out)

I'd do the cams personally. You're gonna enjoy the cams every second you start up the car, versus the Whipple/TVS only at WOT. Can't go wrong with either, although I'd prefer the Whipple over TVS.

Isn't that the car on svtp that lost 40-50 rwhp after getting those cams?

Anyway, I'd get bigger injectors than 56's regardless of which way you're souping up that 5.4
The GF's car is using '14 56's and they're almost maxed out at her 17psi level, 643/608 numbers
I was actually shocked, since that's not much higher than a '14 puts down stock
The tuner told us the fuel pump is at about 94-96% and the injectors about the same (one was 94, the other was 96, I forget which was what though).
So if we go for more power, we know we'll need a BAP and at least 72's

Also, the Whipple will whine more than the TVS.
The TVS in the GF's car we barely hear now, even with the 123mm CAI

Usually L&M's have power increase. Never heard of them losing power afaik.

The 55lbs are sitting around since I got them from a 14 gt500 take off we did a Whipple 2.9 on.

Just read it - always the risk of something going wrong. Half of me wants to wait till I take the engine out again (for some reason). The stock blower really doesn't pair well with any cam as much as I've heard.
