Morning!

I'm in the middle of yanking my motor out. It seized up b/c I broke the oil pump gears. Anyhoo, I cannot rotate the motor to remove the converter off the flexplate. Will I damage the transmission pump if I yank it out with the converter attached? Should I just pull the transmission at the same time?

Thanks!

Admin moved this to 4.6L Tech, this specifically applies to a 2011+ Coyote motor. Any help moving it there?

Blake Holcombe recommended to yank the trans out at the same time to not damage the pump.
