I did mine with a kit that just plugs into the harness in the trunk - half hour install, no splicing needed. Totally plug and play.

Who makes a plug and play "chase" tailight kit? The only plug and play kits I know are sequential, not chase.

isn't that the same thing?
No... "sequential" lights only sequence when turning on. The lights all turn off at the same time. "Chase" lights sequence both on and off. The Meter4it kit I got in May 2005 allows me to do both (as well as return to stock it I want) by flicking a switch. But, I've always used the "chase" mode. I just like it better than sequential.

You can see side-by-side videos of the difference here: http://meter4it.com/

Hey Don, I got the same one as you and mine was plug n play!
Where have you been hiding lately, Bill?

Maybe they changed the kit since I did it back in May 2005. I had to run a hotwire to the front of the car.
