I have a 2010 and was told the same things you were that I was nuts for buying the the 2010 with the 5.0's right around the corner....but I have enjoyed modding the car the way I have it/wanted it and I have not once regretted the decision.

Yeah, I was fortunate to find this one for the price in my area. It was a happy medium between the price of the 2010 I was looking at and the the 2012 (w/ incentives). If I didn't find this and ended up with that 2010 I would have been happy as well.
