Removing belts

the strap is only used for the V6 engines.
the 5.0 requires you to cut the belt.. the manual actually calls for it

FMCdealer shows using the strap. I have it printed off right in front of me.

You're probably looking at the 3.7 instructions.. The 5.0 instructions are further down.
Then again I'm refering to the motorcraft service manual

Damn, I knew Reece Kelso, The guy in the video. He had a vw shop in Bessemer City, NC and built his own helicopter and was a pilot. Dang good dude too, died a few years ago.

I guess your idea of "worked up" and mine are different.
