Good day,

Is this possible on a 2007 mustang gt? Getting a-lot of noise from alternator. One of my fan relays went bad. Not sure if related. Do I have to buy the whole alternator or can I seap out the bearing?

Thank you!!!

You can swap out both bearings plus the voltage regulator and brushes using this repair kit:

Rebuild is a reasonable option if you have already all the tools and the clutch pulley (not all have clutch pulleys) is ok. Otherwise parts and tools are almost as expensive as a rebuilt one from rockauto.
I got one of the last Denso 2010 alternators, which was very expensive, but I guess is a good alternative.
