Looking forward to seeing some in-car video on the track and a list of what items were removed or replaced to achieve that incredible light weight - congratulations!

guys, I'm still working to figure to get time to load my videos. this was taken from a gts porsche. it has some pretty cool parts of my car racing with him. My junk tires gave up almost at the end. he ended up catching me. I felt I was holding him back so I let him by backed out and gave a few laps to get my tires back under me. you have to give it some time for him to catch me.

as for the car itself. I removed all the inner structure in the a-pillars. through the roof and rear tailight panel. all inner quater material was removed. everything in the doors gutted. if it wasn't needed out it came. I can probably get another 10lbs out of it in wasted not needed material but car is already light enough.

lexan is in the back window and 1/4 windows. Glass windshield, no door glass.

I'll get a exact list together sometime.

lol, yup it's a race car, not a show car and it's treated as such. this past weekend we came home from Putnam Park. it got it's first battle marks. some bumps on the rear and front covers and a nice size dent in the driver door along with a donut tire mark.

you can do all the open track events you want but when you do wheel to wheel racing it is nothing to compare.

I got a look at Steve's car at Putnam, and let me tell you, the attention to detail in the build is beautiful. I think there were about EIGHT wires in the engine bay, the dash area was very well done, hell, the cage was TIG welded!! A real work of art. He's a nice guy, too!

Great job on the build!

I thought I told you before; get rid of the Visteon logo or it will make that car nose heavy.

I've got some porn too

Hope you don't mind, but I've got some high speed pornography as well. I finally broke down and actually paid for some video editing software. This is my first edited "teaser" of footage from a milwaukee mile event. Let me know if you'd rather me not post here. I was kinda thinking the carvers should have their own video posting section.

Looks like fun - nice video. Also good idea about having a "Corner Carvering/Auto-X" video posting section.

Asshole: Some nice laps! From the camera angle, it was tough to see where our lines differed, outside of T6, that is, where your balls are MUCH larger than mine... Also, props on the "more computers than a NASA space station" comment!

Just out of curiousity....do you by chance have any pics of the exhaust. Like how you ran it etc. Im trying to do that setup on my car too, and am trying to figure out the best way to do it so I can run it out the side. Also, Im assuming the plate around the pipe is to distribute the load of the exhaust pipe so it doesnt push and pull on the body?
