Smart decision Darren if you don't wish UN-Necessary miles put on it.

When I was working at the dealerships there were customers that actually took delivery right when the vehicle came off the transports.

No PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) or anything.

Plastic still in place and the vehicle was loaded straight onto a rollback and away it went.

I would like to read what exactly you did purchase when you find time to post.

Plus it would be nice to see some pics of the new machine.

He saved $$ by going for a shell this time.
No engine/trans/driveshaft, much easier to push in and out of the garage for the driveway pics

I am absolutely not surprised to read that the car got delivered to its prison in an enclosed trailer. Was it on wheel dollies to keep those feet off the odo?

Darren did not purchase from me. I don't condone flip flop and sock apparel in my showroom.

He did get a smokin' deal though and the dealer gave him all the monies for his pre-new condition 2013 GT. I do know the details of his car, but that is not my place to share. I'm sure he will post pictures and info soon enough, after 9 coats of wax and relentlessly polishing the IRS.
