This is not enough for me to see to generate an opinion. However I have never liked that hood on the S197 and nor will the S550 look good with it.

The hood is fine, I also can't believe Steve Saleen can still make money these days. This design gets rid of the "too many headlights" look, but leaves us with a "too scoopy and carp mouthed" look.

As for looking like the Camaro, that's basically what we have here. 3700+ lb, similar in proportion, overall dimensions, look, horsepower, suspension, transmission. I bet the performance numbers and driving experience will be very similar - but of course you will be able to see out of the S550.

I'm not too sure about the hood, and there isn't much to go off of with just the one head-on render. That said, I generally like it.

I think it looks pretty badass. The black surround makes it look too much like the Camaro though.

Is that Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel? Wonder if he crashed that bumper.

If you seen the MP4 up close you would not mention it in the same world as a Mustang.

I was mainly referring to the grille styling.

I know the brother-in-law of the guy (Grand-Am/Continental Racer) who owns all of these (and more):

The in-law would talk about it non-stop the day it was ordered from McLaren.
