This isn't a Mustang, it's a 2012 Mazda5.
We went camping a week or so ago and there was a rain storm, causing sap to OBLITERATE my wife's car. It looked like we got stuck behind a maple syrup truck that was leaking.
Anyways, I didn't have time to clean it right away (we didn't realize how bad it was for a few days afterwards).
Just washed it and now on the roof of the car, it appears that the sap has "permanently" discolored underneath it.
What are my options?

If you click on the 100% button they'll come up full size. What's worse is that this is a Pearl finish. The dark spots are where the sap was.
All I've done so far was clean it with a bug/tar/sap spray from Turtle Wax, and I quickly tried Turtle Wax rubbing compound to no avail.
