Shaker 1000 Head Unit Differences

With the exception of needing an antenna adapater, is there any reason a 07-09 Shaker 1000 head unit wouldn't work in an 05-06 car? I've come across discussions that hint at commonality, but no firm 'Yes', it will work. Thanks.

I can't give you a DEFINITE yes, but the wiring harnesses are the same for the radios aside from the antenna, so I see no reason as to why it wouldn't.
