I could see doing the rear quarters, but I wouldn't want the fenders.

Well plus the rear gives more tire than factory but the front is a 265? I run more than that with factory, and I know some ppl have gotten to at least 295's

I had a 295 up front on my 2007 with no rub and no bump or steer stop adjustments.

Very nice kit but like others have said it's expensive. I like the fact it's unique and thats hard to do when building a mustang.

for 46k you should be able to get a 10/11 gt500. at the end of the day youd have a 46k gt.

for 46K you can get a fully loaded 2012 '500. It all depends. There is plenty of people who could rationalize to spend that money on the Shelby GT. I'd like to see this kit on a 07-09 GT500. This kit looks much more at home on the 05-09 body than the 10-13 kit.

If I love it, I would have no problem spending thousands more on my SGT. No problem at all.

that is straight up ridiculous. i'm a v6 owner who has spent more than enough money on my car to buy a shelby gt.......but even i think that is a ridiculous price for nothing

At 18k it doesnt sound they plan to sell to many, just a few at way over inflated prices to way over inflated egos with matching wallets.

One other thing is that these are fiberglass fenders (as we know dont cost an arm and a leg) and even after the upgrade your car is still the same as it ever was when insuring it or reselling it. Good help you if you get into an accident and need a new replacement part. The insurance company will only give you original stock replacement parts

U could insure the modded parts of the car if you reported it. You'd have to pay more of a premium though.

Exactly and incure even more cost. At least with a super snake conversion you get a CSM serial number, entry into the Shelby Registry and I believe some form of DMV registration modificaiton too. With a SS you can easily claim your modificaitons to both your insurance and the DMV.

$20,000 for fiberglass fenders and wheels that surely have a markup on them, no thanks
