A local dealer had a 2015 GT that was spec'd out almost exactly like my 2012 - white, base GT, manual trans, optional rear ratio, no other options. My car also has Brembo brakes, which I think only comes with the Performance Package on the '15s.

Anyhow, the spot beside the new car was open and I couldn't resist taking a few pics. I put these up on FB too, and was surprised by how many non-Mustang people told me to keep my '12.

Of course, I AM keeping it...

I really like the back end of the '15 but not the front so much. It looks like a different white too. The '15 looks like it has more blue in it.

Completely agree about the front and rear ends. If I ever need to do some paintwork on my car, I think I'll shave the dinner plate, black out the deck lid, and add GT letters like the new car. It's a great look.

Also, the whites are different. Performance White versus Oxford White.

I don't blame you for wanting to keep the '12, it's a much better looking car all around.

I LOVE the front and rear of the 15. It's the sides that SUCK. Those freakin rockers are HORRIBLE looking. Somebody let Ford know that the New Edge is no longer!!!! Sheesh!!!

Nope regular GT has the same 4 piston brembos that were optional on the older GTs, the Peformance Package on the 15 upgrades you to the 6 piston units used on the 13-14 GT500

That's cool. Never really saw them side by side. The front end on the 15 is sooooo big. Yuck. I do like the back though.

It's all in the angle of the pic. I hated the side of my 13 straight on but if a pic was taken from the front or back corner I liked it. This is what sold me on the 15 in this color.

The '12 definitely looks better in white; I think this is the first color I've seen on the 15 that I've not been impressed by. I'd bet that a lot of that is because the white doesn't draw out all the body lines the way the other colors (especially the metallics) do.

These new fusion GT are a huge disappointment. Look at the AM 2012 vs 2015 stock to stock 1/4 mile race and how 100-200 Lbs of weight affect the car, not to mentions how reliable that rear suspension will be or not.

I can't wait to get back in the game with a magnum and some upgrades in my 2011 and beat the shit out of all those ugly mustangs. They should of made the front more original because the sides, roof and rear looks great.

I have a 15 psi TVS gen II and ford racing half shafts on order already. I already have my fuel and ID1000 injectors ready to go. I am going to be on E85 around 800 hp. I am looking forward to some unsuspecting victims. :poke:

I looked at a side-by-side comparison before I pulled the trigger on my 14 and I can honestly say that I really don't care much for the 15's, they no longer look like a muscle car in my humble opinion and moreso resemble a mitsubishi eclipse.

Imo the "muscle car" look was lost in 2010. They softened the body lines up so much on them. 10-14 have very few body lines. I think 15 is much more aggressive looking.
I like all the Mustangs from 05-15 each has its own cool look to me but it is amazing though with the flood of new pics hitting now how quickly the s197 chassis is starting to look "old" to me. To each his own though. That's why there is 1000 different favors of ice cream.
