It was part of the Sherrod Conversion package. Cosmetic fender vent thingy of some sort.... lol

I have ponder having it removed, with a new set of fenders.

haha yeah that was pretty neat! alot of haters though well that posted alot of likes at least they overweighed the bad but alot of the founders of ilds were my forum buddies from 8thcivic.com from my last car so it was a lil advantage haha

I believe you're right, after I looked a second time. That's the v6 Pony Package front grill. Also, if I remember correctly, the GT side emblems leave holes in the fenders and the v6 emblems don't.

Are the hood and front bumper a different color than the rest of the car? It looks a little bit like in that pic, but I couldn't tell for sure because the other pic didn't make me think that at all! Either way, NICE ride!!

No, just a pony package grille in an 06 GT.

Correct. It is a GT so it has the 4.6. I just didn't think Boss 4.6 would look right so I went with 281.
