Are you guys sure that is going to work , Ive run a a1000 on a fox body in a similar application , they do not like to try and suck fuel out of the top of the tank , the pump gets very loud and you can here it cavitate .
Have you done any testing in long street driving applications? I would rather just buy a 2011 tank and run the pump inside , this way the pump stays cooler and wont have a problem .

Pete

That's why I asked a few questions, I know most in line pumps don't like to pull. Here is an interesting read for those not familiar with a1000 and similar in line pumps. http://aeromotiveinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/11101.pdf

For the reason stated, we have 2 separate systems being tested. We are making it 100%.

All I was doing is showing the hat and it being a prototype.

All more information will be released once all testing is completed.

Very interesting, would love to see a one pump system compared to the three pumps I run now in tank. But have the same concerns as other as how well it run in-line and not in the tank.

not like the sn95's where the everything is mounted high, on the s197, you can mount the pump a lot lower so it can pull the fuel so it should be g2g. Once SEMA is over, the rest of the testing should be completed though.

The older style tank will not fit a hat and A1000 in the tank. It will stick up past the inlet whole.

Interesting. This is listed for a 2005-2010 Mustang and looks like it has the pump in the tank. I guess they reworked it some.

Why we went another route. When you own and make the A1000. kinda can do that. LOL

Sorry, didn't mean to screw up your thread. I thought you guys were working with Aeromotive, didn't realize you are doing this one on your own. That's a good thing, the more options the better. Your setup might actually work better for my car. One advantage to yours is you aren't limited to a A1000 pump. I'll be running E85 and hopefully over 1000 rwhp and the A1000 won't do that.

Understandable bud. We went with that pump because of the success behind it. But the option of pump is up to you. Magnafuel, Fuel Lab, and Aeromotive are all different options you can go with. Sky's the limit. And people who have been racing for years knows this set up works.

but thanks for the kind words though. Hope to talk to ya soon and get ya rolling!

Ken thats fine as long as the pump is in the tank , put whatever pump you want . My concern was running the pump outside in line making it have to suck the fuel out the top of the hat. This is where it can be an issue. With E85 the pumps still run cool , but on reg gas could it be a problem?
I would rather get a hat where I can put a Magnafuel Fuel lab or even if you can get there's with a Pro Series pump in the tank and all problems are solved.

I have no experience with fuel systems but I'd imagine on a street car that you'd be mounting the pump somewhere under the back seat and it may hummm and be annoying for a DD??? Can someone shed light on this.
I'm going to probably be in the market for a system in the future and this does look sweet!

It would not be in the vehicle. it would be under it.

Is this hat avaliable yet? Will it have any problems running lets say a Eliminator or a Pro Series pump inline with it? Having alot of fuel pump issues! All most ready to drop the coin on a Cobra jet setup with the fuel cell and built in fuel pump.
