So I order the Ford Motor Sports X Brace Kit

So I have been eyeballing the FMS X Brace kit for some time, I have even had it in my summit cart now for the last 2 days. The price was ok, but it seemed to go on sale this holiday weekend. I was still not quite there, but scary close.

A buddy of mine was over the condo, and I was telling him 'if they send me an email with a discount code its a lock' - I am not kidding I said that and about 20 minutes later, I got a code for 50$ off 500 or more. Well that did it, I order the X-Brace.

Not sure when it will get here, but Its going to very neat looking when it does.



I already re-did the seats with a TMI kit:



So I think the interior will be pretty nice looking, now just gotta get the car completely dialed in.

Wow, that seems like a lot, or is it just me? Besides my Whipple I can't think of too many parts I've spent a grand on.

Ouch. I know that includes the rear seat delete. Steeda Brace is Much cheaper.

Its true its stupid expensive, but I have been drolling over this for years, and well I dont have to drive my kids in the car anymore, (I bought them their own cars now) so I can yank that rear seat out and install the brace.

So it gets here Friday so watch for photos

I had the peeling door panel fabric replaced with matching suede like the seats:


Real happy with the kit, its expensive but fits great and looks better than any other rear seat delete I have seen.

Yep, the FRPP rear seat delete kit for the S197's is, by far, the best looking and fitting option out there.

Does anyone have one of these installed in an S197 along with a Watson Racing 4 point roll bar? I'd be interested to know of there is a fitment conflict as I already have the roll bar in the car.
