Well some exterior goodies for the mustang are starting to come in. First up would be the 3dCarbon 4pc Pony kit.

So a American muscle 3" cowl hood and painted mirror caps have been ordered.

I installed some American Muscle mirror caps on my mustang today.

did they fit good? i've been debating on getting a set.

Those caps look good. I tried them on my 09 and they didn't fit well and the paint had imperfections. They were great about it though and let me return them full refund.

I had them on my 08 and the fit was awesome

They're not bad but not 100% perfect thats for sure. They almost seem a bit on the small side for the mirrors like they don't fill the recessed spot 100%. I can live with them though.

Installed my Kaenen hood today from American Muscle. I am gonna go get some estimates and see how much this kit and hood is gonna set me back for paint.

Larry do you have a shop in mind for the paint job? I have a few close personal friends that are head painters at some well known shops that I would only trust to touch my cars!

Yeah I have a couple places in mind, one of them being Rhodes custom auto in Townsend.

hood will look great when its done.

everyone was right about the mirror covers. they dont fit perfect and my drivers side had a paint defect. i went ahead and put them on but pmed Shane to see if they'd sell me another drivers side.

hopefully they get it done for you pretty quick. seems like everytime i take something to get painted it winds up in paint jail for atleast an extra week.

Nah I really want some 20" foose nitrous wheels for it.

The shop told me it would be 4/5 days. It sucks cause I had a car show I was planning on attending that weekend but it looks like I might be spectating this one.
