I can't speak to the actual install of the twin but the single wasn't bad at all. Besides the location problems with being so far from the motor, oiling issues for the turbo are the biggest problem.

There may be a better system now, but the oil sending unit in the past systems was inadequate. I lost one turbo because of it.

I really enjoyed having the turbo. It was great to drive on the street. I look forward to seeing the results.

Best of luck!!

The remote location from the engine brings with it the disadvantages of greater turbo lag, oiling problems, vulnerability to damage by road debris, and potentially being soaked with water when the car is driven in heavy rain.
Its only real advantages are the lower price, and that it doesn't add clutter nor radiate heat into the engine bay.
