Super cheap, Easy in-car camera mount

Ran across this video on youtube and thought it was pretty cool. It literally took me 10 minutes to make. Materials cost me $10.


I tested it out on the drive to work tonight and it seems solid. Hopefully the local track will open up for a few more TNTs so it can get a real test.

Here's a quick video to show the perspective. It's a crappy wal mart camera hence the shittyness of the video.

If you fast forward 1:05 into the video you can see me get loose at 50 mph in 3rd gear.... Hooray for torque!!

not a bad idea at all for a quick and dirty mount setup. personaly i am going to have one that mounts between both seats so that hopefully it does not shake as much, and with the added room i might be able to get a camera that shows the speedo/gps better.

That's what I'm going to do too. More sturdier and you can probably place the camera right in the middle to see the speedo and driver easier.
