I started off with the BMR Sway Bar Relocation Kit (From Boss281)
and a set of Racestar 15x10 Wheels

It took a little over a hour to do and with common hand tools.

You will need the following tools.
Dremal or Cutting tool
13mm Socket
15mm Socket
1/2 Socket
15mm Open end wrench
2 Jack stands and a Floor Jack

Here is the Problem the Sway bar is in the way, the tab hits the wheel

Here is the Solution - The Kit consists of

The First thing you want to do is Jack up the Rear of the Car, Put it on Jack stands and Removed the wheels.

First removed the bolt for the Shock, there is not a lot of pressure on it.
(Note. you must have the Axle supported with a jack.

Then remove the Sway Bar Bolts. to make it easier to re-install the shock bolt later, you will need to remove the 2 bolts supporting the sway bar to the body.

Next, Place the bracket with the bolts to align the bracket, then mark where you want to Cut. (I used a Dremal but you can use a Hack saw)

Install the Bracket with the sway bar ends assembled,
then insert the bolt into the Shock, Then replace the bolt that holds the sway bar to the body.

Check the wheel for fit and your done...

What's the absolute minimum amount of movement to clear the tire? Just curious.

Heads up. Could not get the sway bare relocation brackets to work with the techco watts link kit. With the sway relocated to the new mounts further back the sway hits the pivot block on the diff cover and it wont mount up.

More to come on how to make it work.

Thanks for the great write up. I just got my relocation brackets in the other day and I'll be doing this soon.
