Should've left it. I've been logged out on Tapatalk and it won't let me log back in. And I just updated Tapatalk.

Ha! I have a dumb phone. Have only used a laptop. Might get a note 4 and modernize.

It's definitely broken. When I attempt to log in, I get this error message:

Code:
[SIZE=5]Log In Failed[/SIZE]
Server error occurred: 'require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') (config.php:20)'
That looks like pretty fundamental breakage to me. Please fix!

I was getting the same error this morning on my phone...curious.

If I open the site in the web browser on my phone and click on Open In App it opens in Tapatalk fine. If I go straight to Tapatalk it gives the same error as above.

Nope. Now it's just giving me:

Code:
[SIZE=5]Log In Failed[/SIZE]
Failed to process XML Data due to unknown error.
This persists across restarts of the app.

Is there any way to revert back to the previous Tapatalk code base (which seemed to function well enough), and deploy the new code on a test instance or something?

I haven't a clue why it's not working for me, but it's not. That error is consistent across multiple devices and multiple versions of Tapatalk, including the latest version (all are on iOS devices of varying OS versions, for what that's worth).

This is the only forum that gives me these issues, and these issues didn't begin to occur until after the upgrade. Prior to that, it was fully functional and, from what I could tell, error-free.

What happens if you log out of the forum from within Tapatalk and log back in?

Also note that I am not using Tapatalk's central sign-in feature, because I don't trust a central entity with my login credentials.

ETA: I'd be happy to help troubleshoot this issue in detail if it would help. If there's some way to put Tapatalk into "debug mode" or something to get logs out of it, I'll be happy to do that for the purpose of figuring out what's going on here.

Seeing I just installed it instead of trying to mess with it, I just uninstalled TT and then installed it again. After that it was working fine. Have you tried uninstalling it and installing it back on?

I uninstalled/installed it and it's working now, just have to get use to this wacky layout.

Is it totally different? Like I said, first time user. Always view the site on my phone with the browser.
