Welllllll…..crap, thought I got lucky when I found it!! I’m wondering if I can cap the red tube and drill out and thread in the bottom tube. Guess I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!!
Yessir…that was my 1st thought. Started thinking about ways to reroute, 90’s, adapters, bla bla….then thought “why not just cap the red end and thread in a new 90 elbow for the yellow circle piece”…but I know it’ll leak lolIf it physically fits (without obstructing/interfering with anything else) I see no reason why you cannot extend or replace & reroute the line that connected to the bottom tube. It'll still move water. IMO worth a test anyway.

Can't you just get a longer hose and use the existing connection?
I’ll for sure look at that option. I think the reason ON3 recommends the swap is to clear up hose clutter to make room for turbo & piping. I definitely see what you guys are saying but if I can get the way I’m wanting to do to work I think it’ll look alittle cleaner after it’s all said and done….but that’s my .02, all suggestions appreciated!!As 07 Boss says you really only have to reroute one line. Buy a 4 - 5ft section of hose that fits the smaller connection; route it and connect it. Cut it to size; put a clamp on it and you should be good.
The nipple circle in red was cut off, drilled out, tapped, and that hex head plug was threaded in there. Thanks, turned out pretty good I thoughtIf that nipple circled in red pulls out, you can seal that with a freeze plug flush with the housing. If not, you can cap it shut with a heater plug and worm clamp. I am sure there are other options too, but either way... Nice work!
