Nice Terry!:thumb: I've got high speed DSL and my computer stumbled a bit like Scotts...LOL.

How much boost are you running? What CR does Brenspeed's 302 run?

That's one bad ride Terry. I love your car man.
Thanks and not bragging but I really like it now that it is the way I want it.

Yea, your pictures really showed their shop being legit. I would consider the B302 if i had the coin + a 2005-2010 S197. :thumb:
Brenspeed is the real deal for sure.
Nice place and friendly employees. :thumb:

The only thing left of that Bullitt is the color. That is one awesome Mustang there brother. :thumb2:
I think I will leave the Bullitt the color it is.
I don't believe in making a lot of changes.

CR with stock heads is 9.5.

Lee,
Thanks for the compliment and glad you found the Post interesting. :thumb:

Very nice Tiger, that is one cool build!! God whats next? lol
The Bullitt is the way I want it now.
If I made any other chance it would be a Heavy-Duty built 5-Speed Tranny.
That is in the Future though.
Thanks for checking the Post out.
Glad you liked it.

I just made it through all the build pics, isn't insomnia great. What a great job Terry, extremely well thought out and executed. I should have mine back this Sat. or next week at the latest. I know you are going to enjoy this setup and I am really looking forward to getting mine back on the road.

Hi Earl,
I do some of my best Posting in the early AM hours.
lol2.gif

I did take like 300 pics. and shortened it down to like 200 that is in the post.
I thought there would be many people that would like to see exactly what really takes place.
So I took pics of each thing that took place along the build.

I look forward to seeing & reading about your Mustang once you get it back.
It is so easy to "Miss" things here on S197 with all the new posting done each day.
I would appreciate a PM with the Link to your post on your Mustang if you don't mind taking the time.

Terry

A Must have !!!

Get through College and then do the car fun thing as it takes a lot of

Will do, I didn't take any pictures of the new build but I will take some of the finished product. 2 years of accumulated dust just doesn't equate with picture taking.

Really a great build. Thanks for all the detail.

Why the Saleen HE instead of the AFCO? are the cooling rates comparable?

You list this as a street car, but you are running the drag set-up for tires? Is that a style choice?

Just my opinion on this.
I chose the Saleen because I think a lot of research went into the unit.
Also I have the Saleen Supershaker so seemed like an obvious choice.

The wheels and tires are just personal choice.
I'm Ole School so prefer them over the same old normal wheel and tires you see on almost every vehicle.

^^Cool thanks...

An upgraded HE is on my short list, and I would prefer to keep my car Saleen where possible. That means paying double in a lot of cases though...you have to pay to play as the saying goes.

Just curious as to performance. It gets hot in Texas...

The Saleen HE I think is the way to go.
It gets to 100 Degrees here in the summer.
I have been to TX. and I know exactly what you are saying about Heat.
Heat is the reason I also went with the Fluidyne radiator as it is the same unit that Saleen put in the Extreme Mustangs.
I also went with the Silicone Radiator Hoses. (Lifetime Guarantee)
Put in a New Water-Pump with the 302.
Heat is a real concern with street driven vehicles IMO.

The cost of the Saleen items as you know are pricey.
But, so is a New Stroked 302 Engine.
Better IMO to spend the Bucks for the Added Safety that Summer Heat takes on an Engine and other parts under the hood.

Just a comment here as a friend regarding making changes to our Mustangs.

I think in many cases people Stop short on Completing a New Build.
It is by far better to do it "Right" the 1st time than to have to tear it down and do it all over again.
But as we all know you have to have the dollars to do it completely and I realize sometimes that just is not possible.

As you say it does Cost to Play.

So you don't think the same research went into the AFCO dual fan heat exchanger? I'd put my money on the AFCO. Not to say that it's the wrong choice as like you said you wanted to go with the Saleen theme.

I went with AFCO Pro with dual fans. I have been happy with it so far, huge difference in size compared to Saleen stock HE. Not compared it too the Saleen upgrade HE, I would think it would come down to preference. Cost played a roll for me $669 to over $1000+ for the Saleen.
