Tire question

I want to get some 9.5 wide wheels all the way around. And since the stock rears cost $350 each. I was hoping to use all 4 stocks. How would a 255/40 work/look on a 9.5 wide wheel?

The stock rear rims with the offset Ford did wont work on the front.

Yea you can run 255's on a 9.5" wheel fine but thats probably the max.

Stick out from the fender? That's on the wheel specs. Not the tire in this case

I mean like a taper. Like when you see those cars where the tire is 45 degrees instead of 90 lol. Basically, how odd would a 255/40 look on a 9.5" wheel. I don't think you would notice 1/4 on each side since they come stock on a 9". I was hoping someone had experience with it on here

i ran 255 fronts on 9.5 wide gt500 wheels on my 08. there is a small stretch to the tire, but its not stupid looking at all.

i plan to run a 9.5 square setup as well and use the factory tires.
