Hey guys just a quick question. My buddy has 275/40ZR/18's, Good Year Eagle F1 Run Flats that he took off his C5, can I put them on my 08 GT?? I am pretty sure the answer is yes but I just wanted to ask you guys here to confirm. Thanks.

is it just a question about size, or about using run flats? i have 275/40/18's on the stock 8.5 rims (in the back), and they have very little bulge. imho they look really good

18 x 9 Black Bullits. And basically just that tire in general.I have 255's on right now and they bulge a little too. I think it looks badass! Thanks guys.

I have Michelin pilot sport run flats up front w/ no issues.
The only draw back is, not having an onboard tire press
monitor to keep track when and if you do loose air in it.

The first place I took the wheels/tires too didn't
want to install them w/out the monitoring system.
So..I just took them to a friend for mount & balance.
and I do check them often, just for the piece of mind.

When I took my Fanblades off and put the Bullits on the Bullits didn't have the TPMS so I haven't had TPMS for a few months now. I check them every time I get into the car. My local mechanic put them on for me no problem, the only annoyance is the little orange light. How do you like the Michelin's? I was considering getting a pair.

Can you transfer the TPMS from the others?

I love them, second pair on the rear actually.
With the Roush wheels,I was able to fit the
315 30 18's back there,the viper tire lol

Yea you can transfer them but it seemed like a pain in the ass because one came off and it took us a while to get it back on so I didn't want to put up with the hassle of removing them and putting them back on. And that's a NASTY rear tire!! I'd love to go that big but they are expensive to replace so I will be good with 275's.

275/40R18's are fine, I run them on all 4 corners in conjunction with Eibach Sportlines without a problem.

as mentioned the only minor issue is that the TPMS is not set up, otherwise your fine with those tires IMHO
