It's only 1/8 mile which around here usually means it's dominated by ricers. If OSW closes in December then I don't know where I'll go, but I'd sure hate to have to choose between an 1/8 mile track or nothing.

This is completely incorrect. Some of the baddest cars run 8th mile such as x275 class ant outlaw drag radial. You have no idea what is going on if that is your mentality. Just use google and learn for yourself about how serious 8th mile racing is.

Lakeland is THE dragstrip in Central Florida. This place hooks. Much better than the skating rink in Bithlo.

I love the Lakeland Drag. I used to help a buddy who ran a 70 Nova SS there. Some nice cars run there.
