That sucks, but I understand his decision. Parting out my Bullitt was the worst wrench turning I've ever done. If I could have afforded to just walk away from it I would have.

he would not have to do the work. depending on exactly what happened, there may be some money to be made by buying it back from insurance and then selling the entire car and maybe remove some easy stuff.

on the other hand, used parts around here for 05-09's are not really moving that quickly anymore.

I heard someone say they will cover mods, if you let them know ahead of time, so they can then charge you more in premiums.

Ill probably go to a specialty insurer sometime soon and just say "i want it insured for $X" I dont DD it and have another vehicle, have a garage, etc

Exactly mine is insured with Hagerty for $50k for $1,200 a year and I have a shitty diving record, son totaled first one in 2011 (they paid out) and I have a 17 year old daughter.

Same. I valued mine at $21k and paying $240 a year through Grundy's.

Sucks about Bill's blower though. I think he bought the whole kit new.

If I'm talking about the right Bill his real full name is, Bill Gxxxx.
I wonder if the Bill above is the same person as the Bill on here ?
This Bill lives in xxxxxx, Pennsylvania.
If it is the same fellow he just posted on Facebook 59 minutes ago but it had nothing to do with a Bullitt Mustang.
I went through his Facebook posts and did not see any reference to a totaled Bullitt Mustang.
So maybe it's two different Bill's.
I decided to post on Facebook to the Bill Grieco and we shall see if it's the same fellow.

My neck is a little tight still but nothing major, car was totaled out, luckily they gave me almost $5000 in equity... So I'm on my way to go look at a 2016 5.0, fingers crossed it works out, I also will have a bunch of after market parts from the 2012 mustang that had about 5k miles on them that I will be needing to get rid of

For those interested the Bill I spoke of on Facebook above is the same fellow on here.

He replied to me and said, (I totaled my Bullitt)

I said why don't you take a few minutes and go back over to S197 and the Thread you started and bring everyone up to date.

No-Reply from him and I see he has not been back so .................
