Track Outing for my 3V

Went to the track today to see how the truetrac held up along with the strange axles and 4:10 gear.. TrueTrac did great except it came unlocked during two passes out of about 15 which is fine with me.. cut 1.5 60 fits all day leaving at 5000 on the spray.. personal best for me driving my car 7.74 with the 100 shot at 88 mph

But I did seem to bend some rear wheel studs so idk what i'm going to do about that..

Nice times man! Kinda lost on how you bent the studs, unless the wheels weren't all the way tight by accident!

any vids of the pass? I'm curious about the diff unlocking on you. how did you notice the bent studs, hard to get the wheel off?

I have videos but there on another friends phone and they are in high quality so he can't send them for some reason.. but when it unlocks it just kinda skids or almost wheel hops the left rear until it eventually locks.. its not bad or hardly noticeable but it will lose a couple hundredths in the 60 ft when it does

if he's able to upload them to youtube, you can use the youtube editor to slow the vid down (by as much as 8x) and that might paint a better picture of what's happening at launch.

well we reviewed it.. it just comes unlocked.. left wheel everytime it just skips and try to bite for traction but 98% of the time its perfect!

I bent the studs on a gt500 the first time I used 15" drag radials. All but 2 on both sides didn't line up straight. Went with moroso 3" and they are perfect. Only thing is you need open ended lugs

I bent a couple sets of the Strange screw in studs .. Last time I switched to press in ARP studs and bought some McGard lug nuts and haven't bent any since.
