So the season opener for NMRA is coming up the first weekend in March, and will be in my neck of the woods at Bradenton. I really want to run in Limited Street but my blower is not permitted and I don't have an extra $3k laying around to buy a legal blower so I'm exploring other options. I know how the True Street class works and my only reservation with that is I hate not being able to open the hood between rounds. All I would want to do is check the oil to make sure it's not a milk shake lol but that's not allowed. So I'm looking at Outlaw True Street, and I know non-Ford power is permitted in this class and it still has the same 30 mile cruise but it doesn't look like they have the 3 back to back passes thing with closed hood policy. Looks like heads-up 1/8 mile racing after the cruise, which looks interesting, if you're familiar with the OTS class please chime in and enlighten me!
