twin V6 fuel pumps?

i have two 2006 Mustang V6 fuel pump assemblies that i was wondering if i could make a twin set-up out of if i get the proper hat? or are they useless? was'nt real sure if the 4.0L and 4.6L pumps were much different... ??

Yes you could, although fore doesnt make thier hats anymore.

Or you could install 2 pumps on one stock hat.

ok? i was'nt aware that you could do that, or that fore does'nt make the hats anymore. should'nt be too hard to do? has anyone done this before? i could'nt locate any threads on it

damn i don't have the extra cheese cause i'm buying Hot Rod cams and a new tune :-/ i was hoping to just DIY the shit. would it be as easy as getting a Y block and drilling another hole in the stock hat and putting a fitting on it for the other pump?
