I got called an idiot because one of my customers had an issue where his driver side tire was closer towards the front of his car, in comparison to his pass. side. HE stated it was due to our relocation brackets, and "no way in hell" his axle tube could have twisted, as I suggested.
Anyhow, sorry to see this. Atleast it will be built stronger this go around.
As for springs that launch good, those would be ours.
Yep. You can see the plugs in the housing. They drill out pretty easily and what you'll want to do. You can get a tube from currie since they make them new with brackets and all. But you might be able to save that one. Could be hard though. Or start from scratch
Stock tubes compared to the .250 chrome moly ones I have made.
What are you guys using to line up the tubes? To make sure they're perfectly straight?
I have a spare rearend that has a little toe-in from a tube that's not straight, and I want to fix it, but don't want to just start pulling or welding without making sure it's dead straight.
anyone know of any shops near Baton Rouge that can weld my tubes and check to see if one is bent or twisted? one of my stock axles sheared where the c clip goes, i bought the car used and i know that side was wrecked and would like to get it checked before it breaks another axle.
