These heads have about 80k miles on them. Should I go ahead and do a valve job on these too or just run them?

Here's one I've been cleaning and the other untouched.

I guess you might as well remove them and at least expect the seats and remove any buildup on the valve.

I've got those newer valves out of the old motor but I don't know if the valves were damaged from dirty oil or not

I don't know if the valves out of the old head are damaged or not but they have like 2000 miles on them

I can't see anything in the pictures. If there aren't any gouges in the stem or valve itself then i would say they are ok.

They are just shiny from where they contact the guides. Idk if that's normal

While I was cleaning I noticed the valves weren't sealing 100% so I'm going to do an overhaul. The newer valves, new seals, and springs, with the low mile followers. I May purchase new lash adjusters too

Damn that sucks.
Yeah but I wanted to clean these up anyways. I'm going to strip them. Give them a mineral spirits and hot water bath than assemble them. I'd rather go ahead and rebuild them since I don't want to tear back into them again.

Lapping some valves now. Here's what a lapped valve and seat look like. Notice a consistent contact patch all the way around with no missing places
