It's not hard at all to grind off the weld on the rolled tips. A 4" grinder, some finesse, and patience will make a clean removal. I was skeered but I gave it much thought and the tip came off clean and the muffler is ready to accept the new tip.

Those just look so clean and solid. Excellent choice, IMO

Nice tips! FRPP sound way better than the SLP's. I have the SLP's now. Tips look good, but the sound gets old after a month. (with o/r x) I'm ready to swap now. And I've only had them a little over a month.
