Water dropping aircraft vs fire

So 3 weeks ago there was a fire near my house in Santa Clarita, CA.....about 2 miles from the house. Took a short drive to see how close I could get to take some pics of the aircraft. Here is what I came up with:

Cool. I am near the top where Plum Canyon turns into Whites Canyon.

Did you happen to live up there when the big fire came through that area? About 5-6 yrs ago...

No at that time I was living in Valencia off of Copperhill near McBean.

Yea that was a scary one, my buddy lost his toy hauler and garage. and about six houses burned down just down the street from him.

Last summer, there was a fire accross the lake from our cabin. burned 400 hectares. They brought in one of the skycranes. i wasnt close enough for good pictures, but after the fire was out, i did drive into the burnt out area and took this.
