2010 GT 4.6 3V
Mods:
4.10s
catback
o/r h
JLT CAI
Short Throw
93 Octane Bama Performance Tune
Hoosier Drag Radials

3 passes:
13.1@105
13.3@86 (missed 4th and coasted through. My times up until the 1k mark were best here so I think I would have gotten 12.9 if I didn't miss 4th)
13.0@106

60ft was consistently 1.8 leaving at 4k rpms

Overall I'm happy, but definitely some things to work on. It was a great night and I had fun for sure.

Next mods will be LCA/relocation and pulleys

What's your DA where you are at. I'm running about those times too. I'm at 6500-9000 depending on the day. Last night was 8600 best run was 13.2. It sucks being so close to the 12s

Not to steel your thread... daveyboy, how is your car with the converter and 4.10's?? I'm really thinking about 3.90's.... Hows the highway driving?
I have the 3K stall as well.

You could prob dip 12s leaving harder. I launch like 100 rpm below the limiter and generally cut 1.6x on a 17" MT ET Street (bias ply). Only mod I have over you is LTs, and I run mid 12s all day. DA where i run in WI is generally a tad under 1000.

Spraying blue are you leaving at 6000+ rpm? I launch at 5000 give or take and I thought that was kinda high.

Are you power shifting? I'd expect you to be in mid-high 12's already considering you have 4.10's and drag radials...

Not real sure but I think around 1500.

Have at it, I don't mind.

Yeah, I think I need to launch at higher RPMs for sure.

What size tire?

Pretty sure 26.5. I would have to check but I remember it being very close to stock.

I just shift normal. I'm really not even sure what power-shifting or no-lift shifts are. It is my daily so I just shift fast while fully using the clutch and letting off the gas for the most part.

^ Agreed.

Like you said, launch alittle harder and go from there. Is the car bogging or spinning at when you launch at 5k? You should be able to find 1.7 60's, alittle tire spin isn't necessarily a bad thing for a near stock 3v.

Powershifting (no lift shifting) is rowing through the gears as quickly as you can (still using the clutch) but not lifting off the throttle.

It pretty much grips and goes but does spin a little bit. I don't think I'm getting them hot enough either because I go pretty light on my burnouts.

What RPMs do you guys typically shift at?
