I sell plumbing and I have to admit that looks pretty good in pictures.

Lol.
Next set of parts to get the spray-paint treatment:

The round valve trim and the lever got the 400-grit sandpaper treatment, the last piece didn't.
All have been washed in warm water and soap, dried, and let air-dry.
Looking forward to seeing how they'll come out and how durable the paint will be, which is the big question for me.

curious to see how that still looks in a few months.

Yes, true.
The good part is that I'm doing this painting onto spare parts I had, from the bathroom project I'm working on where I replaced everything with a new Symmons Allura kit, so if the paint comes off, I can always return the shower stuff back to chrome without it costing me anything more than the can of paint at $8

Wow. Symmons for residential? Not a not of that here in NC.

Yup.
The stuff you see there all painted was originally installed when the condo was built, back in 1981.

Symmons is considered good stuff.
I like the new Allura kit that I'll be installing soon, I also got an Allura faucet set-up for one of the bath vanities. Need to pick-up a second one for the other vanity.

I sell a lot of summons but more in the commercial application. Residential here is mostly Delta, Kohler, Moen or American Standard.

I like Symmons products

The fiancé wanted the closet opened up so I ripped out the doors and the old header and fabed the new header and frame. We're gonna put 2 32x79 inch louvered bi-fold in.

This thread makes me feel better. Home projects are endless.

The first house we owned we ended up going through every room as it was a 1967 house and very outdated. Now we own one we are just making to our liking.

We're currently repainting the inside again, which is simple but to be honest, I'd rather do drywall....

I'm with you on the doing drywall part. When you come to work every day and look at all this you don't want to go home and play with more of it lol painting is one thing I dispise after working here for the last 4 years

Started on the front landscape redesign. My wife decided that she wanted to take out some things and start over. So took some things out, moved mulch and then thought I've always hated the way that part mated up to the sidewalk, so went to Lowes and got some edging to finish it off against the sidewalk. It was higher than the sidewalk with the mulch and my wife agreed when I got this part done that she likes it better. I didn't think to take a "before" picture.

Tomorrow start the digging for a 6x16 patio area with pavers in front of the porch. My wife saw a picture of one and decided that is what she wants in front now.

I just put up 3 rows of tile and decided to stop there today.
Got a little happy when I was able to fit 5 across that 3rd row since the bottom row is just a bit too narrow (I didn't clearance the backer board for the tub edging so it's a little narrower at the bottom. oh, well)
It's not coming out 100% perfectly lined up but it's coming out good-enough. Especially for my first time hanging tile, lol

Decided to go ahead and install the last row of full tiles that I can install.
Now I need a wet saw to go any further.
Hope I get to borrow it from my buddy SOON.
