WHAT??????????

Congrats ....

Hmm...... :signs6:

Told ya so.

Silver looks incredible on the S550.

Silver is far too bland for you.

You should trade it in and get deep impact blue, or magnetic :thumb:

...or Ruby Red...you can't see any depth in the paint with silver...I would trade it in immediately....:greenchainsaw:

I ALMOST bought a Ruby Red but you guys have to understand, there are unsightly body waves above the drivers side rear fender that are magnified 100000000000000000000000000x's on the darker colored cars. The Silver and White cars don't show it and most don't have it..

The silver may not be a head turner, but I'm stoked I can wash it and drive it and it still looks clean!

You should just buy a red '13, they don't have those unsightly body lines the '15-'16 cars do.

Oh, wait ....

Decided to part ways with it and get something more practical for myself and my family. If you follow me on facebook you will have a clue what is replacing it.

James,

Enjoy your new ride buddy.

You know, I was thinking a little bit ago, why not get a Competition Orange one, and stick a rebel flag on the roof?

I had seller's remorse 2 seconds after letting the RR one go, believe me.:throw:

I looked at a CO. Drivers side rear wheel well was a mess with waves.

Replaced Pypes Violators with SLP Loudmouths.

I wonder why SLP went with a 3.5" tip rather than the 4". It doesn't fill the bumper opening as nicely.

Since I had the intake manifold off to do charge motion delete plugs, decided to to some engine paint work on my valve covers and throttle body. Not sure how to rotate the pictures or why they imported at a different angle than what I have them on my computer...

Looks great!!! What kind of paint did you use for the valve covers?

Well, time to spill the beans. The last weekend of September, I ran the good ol' "Dark Horse" at an HPDE weekend. It was a freaking blast. Hitting 150+ mph before braking into turn 1. Passing people left and right (especially some fairly modded Vettes).

The last 20 minute session, the car quit on me with about 5 minutes to go. There wasn't smoke, gauges read normal, no smells, etc. I coasted it to the pit area, and it would not fire back up. Long story short, the motor locked up, and because of the tune, Ford denied the warranty for a new motor. :(

Since I couldn't afford a motor replacement, I went ahead and traded it in today for a new F-150. I had already been thinking about getting a truck so that I could build a car for the track, and use the truck for a daily. The plan just hit earlier than expected.

I'm going to miss that car. It was probably the best decision I made in my life, so far, in buying that car. It definitely won't be the last Mustang I own.
