Whats killing my window tint?

I hate my moleskin. Leaves adhesive residue on the windows every time I roll them down part way. I have replacement trim going in this summer for a permanent fix.

Spend $100 every year to re-tint?


I haven't done the moleskin yet because I don't think my tint is terribly scratched...if it gets worse over time, I may do it and get it re-tinted.

No I mean, wouldn't buying some similar type felt fabric and attaching it be much more cost effective? Maybe not, maybe the moleskin adhesive really is that good, but I have my doubts.

I dunno...the 08+ Ford weatherstripping is probably the best bet. It's an actual fix, not a band-aid. Some of my tint is chipping on the edges now...dunno if that's normal, but I just hope it doesn't get worse.
