steeda CMDP install, PC race tune, and 4.56's coming this fall

lindertw,
I thought you were going to put the 4.56's over the winter? I am very interested in what the new gear will do for your et and 60' times. Also, how much faster can you go before the tracks that you race at will make you add a cage? My limit is 7.5 in the 1/8th and they start with frequent reminders at 7.6.
My first chance to get out the track will be Friday. I added 4.10's, "Q" rear springs with Strange single adjustable shocks (fronts coming but not by Friday), and replaced the RST with RXT. I will running the MT ET Street Radials that I got in trade last year for the first time (yes, I know, bias ply is what I want but I will get those when the SVE Drag wheels come back in stock).
To the OP. Last year with 3.55's, Roush TVS, and some minor rear suspension changes, I got a PB of 7.81 in the 1/8th. I had traction issues that were chronicled in another thread. I am taking a lot of advice from lindertw and fdjizm. It is a slow process for me but I am making progress.

12.7@109mph with a 1.8 60ft on a 235/50/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tire. Car had intake, full exhaust, UDP, Delete plates, 3.73s and at the time was a stock automatic. Now she's a manual and has a real tune on it. Hoping for a 12.4-12.5.

edited my post to say JPC race tune (not PC - lol)...

I was never able to get on my installers schedule this winter to get the gears done, and before you know it spring happened and I have 2 of 3 kids playing four sports - so I've pushed the install (I don't typically race in the summer). I don't think I run into any cage issues until I hit 11.49 in the 1/4 mile. I'll have to ask my local 1/8th mile track and see if they have a cutoff.

good luck Friday, and keep us updated!

Long tubes, hot rod cams, jlt2 cai, brenspeed tuned, curb weight 3600lbs. HTR z3 sumitomos 285/40/18, wotbox launch control at 2300rpm, no lift shift. Eibach pro springs, tokico d spec shocks. Adj panhard bar, bmr lca, uca and relocation brackets.

Would love to get into 12s, but I dont think even slicks will get me there at 105mph.

What altitude are you at? My 06 gt with a canned tune and off road x trapped 105 at a density altitude of 900 ft.

Completely stock Bullitt -

2.2 60' time; very rusty. First and only time I ever took this car to the strip.

1/8 = 9.1
1/4 = 13.9@105

I'd have to find the actual time slip for the 1/8 and 60 foot, but I ran a 13.7 @ 103 in a stock 08 Bullitt.

Cut an 8.77 at 81 mph last night. Air was cooler because of a storm front plus I got skinnies for the front. I'm pretty sure it'll pull an 8.6 with the right launch.
