Wheels and Tire combos for handling

You should just buy these from me and be done with it...lol..the r58 is 21lbs they are 51lbs wheel and tire. and they fit over 14"brakes

Hi Steve -

Did you actually put those wheels over a S197 14" brake kit?

The reason I ask is that I have gone round and round with Brembo and Wilwood, and according to their measurements and templates - it aint happening.

I run the R58's on both of my cars, since I use the same offset on my Fox and my S197.

yes and no, I run a gt40 brembo caliper and bracket and a stoptech 355 rotor. not gt500 brakes so I can't tell if they work on that .never tried though. I had to grind the very top of the caliper a little to get them to fit but they do...Yes, if you look at a paper with proper wheel fitment then it will not work.

Those are very nice but probably too expensive.

Yeah there are a lot of options if money's not really an issues. CCW's are nice, possibly my next wheels but are close to $3000/set. The Fiskes sold for the FR500 cars run about $1200 each..

Thought I might pitch in... About 3 months ago I bought some 5zigens from a fellow mustang enthusiast for cheap:

5zigen 17x9 +35s all around wrapped in 255/50/R17 Nitto NT555s. Thinking of going 275/40/R17 NT05s soon hopefully.

Oh and when i weighed this rims, they were 17.5lbs each. BIG drop in weight when compared to the old American Muscle 18x9 DD Bullitts I was running before these haha. Those were like 26lbs each...
