I installed Pypes catted X-pipe SFM26E on Sunday. I noticed that I didn't have any front isolators for the prongs on the X-pipe. I don't think I've ever had them. I have isolators at the rear that hold up the back exhaust pipe. From https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=310&f=Exhaust System - Exploded View.pdf&p=2, I believe the part # is 5A246.

My question is when did Ford stop installing front isolators?

I don't think I've ever seen them on my car. I have 143k miles on my car, so I suppose I don't really need them.

Love the Pypes.

I forgot exactly when but I’m guessing right around 2009-2020 ish. My car has hangers on the mid pipe, it’s a 2007.

Ford stopped using them in 08, The front hangers were only being used by the factory to hold the exhaust up during assembly.

They were a source for an exhaust rattle and Ford issued TSB 08-3-4 for the service tech to remove them.

Late build 2007's do not have them. So from that point on, no hangers. They quit using them because of noise they were causing.
