How high are you reving your engines? I was checking out Ron's thread about shift points and according to the website I should be shifting at 6700... right now my shift light is set at 5800....

isan't 6700 really pushing things? or am I being overly safe?

So what is everyone shifting at?

Just shift at 6-6200, you take chances with the '05 tiny rods...

I used to shift my stocker at 6800 at 500rwhp on 12 psi and it was fun till I got this little problem one day.

Im making 504, and I shift mine at 5800. Until I build a short block im not taking any risk of blowing mine up.
