For the past year, ever since I had Lito tune my Mustang, I had to let the car idle for 20-30 seconds before putting it in gear or the car would stumble and die. This is not bad considering the cam and supercharger. This was MUCH better than the FIVE MINUTES of idle needed with the Brenspeed tune.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I had a TCI Streetfighter 2800 stall torque converter installed. No tuning. Now, I can start the car and almost immediately put the car in gear and there is no stumbling or dying. I’m not complaining at all, in fact I’m quite happy with it. But why would this happen. I don’t know.
