fit maybe.... good idea.... no..... too big... it'll not perform well

GY says: 10-11.5" rim for that tire

275/45/18s are approved for a 8.5" rim from a few companies, however they tend to be pricey

i have 275/40/17 on my 17 x 8's, so i am sure that 305s are very doable on a 18x8.5....

in theory, a 8 inch rim with a 275 is the exact same setup as a 315/35/18.....therefore a 305 will fit no problem...

my car performs awesome with mine!
