Pretty true, and yes some of it is self inflicted, but then again, most of it is not. And hell, I had first dibbs on that engine from months ago. That ST Short block would have ran great with my Saleen S/C and Livernois III heads.

It doesn't matter if Mark is richer then bill gates. It doesn't matter if he can or cant build an engine up with simple hand tools. What does matter is there is a hunk of metal laying somewhere that cost him allot of money from an unknown failure.

Really, would any of us be any different if something like this happened. He was told it was the cams.. he is going off info that others give him. If its wrong then let all parties involved find the right answer. Bagging on the guy is not doing anything to find the answer. imo

besides he was on MMFF and you weren't :nana2:

In all seriousness, I would be extremly fucking pissed off at the world if what happened in his situation to him, happened to me..I hate when there is none or little accountability, in this situation, and in life in general.

I completely disagree. Mark has always seeked out public approval and public opinion and always seemed to think it was best to try to resolve issues in the public eye instead of keeping things behind closed doors like most everyone else does. So why not let the public voice their opinion.

i have no issue with opinions being expressed, just seemed to me to be getting a bit personal and attacks (my view) on Mark, IMO - just not needed or constructive to anything.

I am still curious where "no warranty starts". It seems to me that the motor has to be built and running and handed to the "check writer" before "no warranty even starts. It looks to me that the OP never even got that. Whether he's a cry baby or the best guy in the world, he still wrote a check for services and he hasn't so far even gotten that. It looks like the motor was assembled, a test run made, and then nothing that could be delivered to the purchaser of services. TO me that would be the issue, not who's fault it is. He was doing business with Livernois who from what I've read is still working with the OP, just as livernois should do. I would not be surprised if Livernois did what they are responsible for and that is handing the man a fully funtional motor with all the items that he paid for.

thats not entirely true, if you read the whole story, someone may have messed up the heads because someone assembled the motor incorrectly... thats seems to be what damaged the heads...

I'd like to find out how much HP they were pumping in. Looks like Adam was aiming for 800rwhp and mark was looking for 1000+ rwhp.

theres been so much stuff my head hurts. haha
