Yeah, I really liked the chassis but had the dreaded front end clunk. In a little over 2 years I had to replace the whole front end, steering rack, A/C compressor and fuel pump. Then in the last month it had electrical gremlins start to pop up so that was enough for me.

I'm not sure why they are not on the hood. I tried to look up Roush stripes and only could find the single wide stripe so I am not sure what is going on right now. I would have preferred them to continue, but it was not a deal breaker for me on the car.

I'm not smarter than a meth cook apparently. Bought one at autozone as they do 3 year replacement followed by 2 more years prorated. Slightly lower CCA but had no issues starting up the beast.

In all seriousness, I think I will just go with an an autozone replacement this time. I have had horrible luck with optimas in the past (3 redtops have lasted a total of 5 years between them on my old GT). Will try to figure out relocation/weight reduction when my car isn't dead.

Sweet, I do have some of those. Is it best to relocate the potatoes to the trunk to help with weight transfer?
