    Opening /removing Radiator Grill

Hello S197ers Today while I was washing my Mustang...I was looking at my Frontgrill.... I own a 08 Bullitt . and the front grilll has only a small "open area " where the air goes thru in direction of the radiator. Looks ugly - in my point of view. So I was thinging about , to cut out the...

2005 mustang GT 4.6 Driver side rear piston brake caliper sticking

It is also a good idea to change the brake fluid every year - because the fluid accumulates water...and the pistons corrode . Result : sticking calipers.

Looking to get a 06 GT manual with low miles. What should I be on the look out for?

@ Dino Dino Bambino. all of the 08 Bullitts also have the newer style spark plugs i.e one piece plug beside this I agree with your 10 Point Check up list.

    soft brake pedal

..a bad booster causes a HARD pedal.. on poor braking performance. I would take a closer look ...at the brake hoses. The now 18 years old rubber hoses often are swollen. This causes a soft pedal ( first ) and there after o total loss of the brake circuit. ..Also possible - at the time when...

    Aluminum Hood....

As we all know, our Pony have those "famous " Aluminium hoods... And the problem is that the hood starts to "self destroy " one day. Does someone has some information why Ford didn´t make the hood out of steel ? I found a seller in Poland , who sells steel hoods (OEM STYLE ) The only reason for...

    Adding external relay

@JC SSP undersize wiring - that s what I was talking about. So the best advise is to make a "upgrade " with stronger wires BEFORE the OEM one are going "south " A good relay and thicker wires from battery to the relay..going to the fan.... using the OEM Wires only for the impulse to operate...

...lose 20 hp... and gain a bullitt proof cooling fan. This was my intention .

    Adding external relay

..about the burnt pin. I think the wire that runs from the relay to the fan motor is "weak" ..or lets say the diameter is "on the edge " Perhaps it is a good idea to "upgrade the OEM wire that runs from the relay to the fan motor - one or two steps up.. in diameter. ??? Just an idea.....

    Adding external relay

Besides the electric fan... I would like to have a "real fan ". Like back in the old days. My 1990 Fox Body had a true riged fan. Bolted on the waterpump... I am thinking about doing a "swap" . Perhaps someone here already had the same idea ? A fan clutch ( thermal ) a fan... and a shroud...
