    The good thing about the production of the new Mustang not starting until July is that we can enjoy driving our S197 Mustangs for at least 6 more months.

    The triple yellow is really gorgeous. It almost looks to nice to drive on the street and get dirty.

    Power bump of 5.0??

    Considering we will have to wait until July to order the new Mustang, I am thinking Ford will strive for 450 horsepower in the GT. The 450 horsepower GT will appease us until the SVT GT350 becomes available in early 2015.

    9" Rear End

    I can hardly wait to see how much torque the IRS will be capable of handling. I hope the Ford engineers surprise me.

    SO, mustangs to finally have independent rear suspension!

    I am ready for the IRS. It will be fun to see who in the aftermarket starts producing components to make the IRS stand up to supercharged 5.0 Coyote engines. Always interested in new bolt on products.

    What power levels are the ecoboost engines capable of?

    A Ford rep said the 2.3 liter Ecoboost will have at least 305 horsepower. I would suspect it will more than likely have 330 to 350 horsepower.

    I am just hoping Ford will put the supercharged 5.8 liter engine in the new Mustang at some point in time. I would like to see how the 5.8 liter engine would perform with the IRS and track pack.
