From Koni to bilstein. I've seen the light. Thanks vorshlag!

I am also among the minority who like to keep the car stock for a while. I own 2013 Boss 302 which I DD and track all year around. I believe the car outperforms me as a driver. Once I am able to exploit "all" the performance it offers, then I will step up to proper coilovers and other...

Ah, the benefits of seat time and targeted practice...

Thanks for the good insight! Knowing you thus far and realizing how much you appreciate becoming a better driver, I am pretty sure you will fall in love with Ross Bentley's book ULTIMATE SPEED SECRETS! I think going to a bigger rear anti-roll bar will only garantee less traction at the rear.

275/35/19 tires on stock Brembo/Track Pack wheel?

I run bfgoodrich rivals (295/35-18): excellent dry performance & very predictable breakaway! Not necessarily the best in wet. Track tires. Dunlop Direzza ZII: excellent dry performance, slightly snappier breakaway characteristics, but good in wet. You could literally feel and hear the...

    Second HPDE: Sonoma Raceway

I like KcBrown threads, they are very honest and they stimulate a healthy dose of educational posts. I am learning and I am loving it :bravo: I like threads that focus on driving techniques and what goes inside our mind during the high adrenaline moments on the track!

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

Thanks for all of you guys for participating in this thread! As I said before I put 20mm rear sway bar and in less than 2 weeks I will be at Gingerman raceway for 2 days to test the new tire setup with the sway bar and I will report back...

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

The main reason I went with square is the ability to rotate the tires for longevity reasons, otherwise I would've gone staggered and did not have to deal with the sway bars business :)

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

I went with 20mm rear sway bar (2005-2009 GT take-off) as recommended by Rehagen racing. I will have 4 days on the same track this month, will try it out and work on the rear dampers settings too to get the preferred balance. Will report back...

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

My only concern about adjustable strano bar is the possible fitment issues with some relocation brackets ( I honestly do not know which). I went to Rehagen racing today and they thought the rear 20mm bar (2005-2009 GT) will do the trick. I asked a lot of people and most recommended...

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

I thought about that too, however the boss springs are stiffer than the gt ones.

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

Thanks for the offer man! Yes I like the idea of watts link, however I want to learn my car in its stock form, learn it very well..then start modifying it as needed. The reason I am going square is giving me the ability to rotate the tires which, I hope, it will save me some money in the long run.

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

Frank, what adjustable bar are you referring to?

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

Good approach, but as I stated above some people who are way better drivers than me tried it out and did not like the unsettling oversteer on high speed sweepers, which to me, might mean the last oversteer in my life :dead:

Boss 302 square tire setup, sway bar size?

I have 2013 Boss 302 ( all stock except CC plate ) and I am planning to go square tire setup (293/35-18) for the track. People have gone square on the Boss and they noticed an increased oversteer due to the fact that the stock suspension was setup for staggered tire sizes with 255 front and 285...
