    No drill license plate bracket

Actually, I see that Craig has a GT500 specific version which attaches to the honey comb. This is a great way to go if you don't want to drill.

    No drill license plate bracket

I use a Craig's Custom Bracket license plate: https://ccmustangbrackets.com/products/2005-2009-mustang It may be a bit more difficult on the Shelby because I seem to recall the lower grill is a full honey comb style (might take some DIY modifications to the grill, if so).

    Oil pump failure

That's how I heard it. I don't quite agree with that assessment, but he's entitled to his opinion. I wish he would have backed it with the facts that brought him to that opinion.

    Oil pump failure

That Ford Performance timing kit is a good kit, and it was the best price for the components to refresh the timing system at the time when I did it. This kit does include another set of these plastic tensioners that are known to blow out their seals. I was thinking about doing RTV when I...

    Oil pump failure

A lot of pressure can be lost around the chain guide tensioners when the seals burst (the seals mate with the tensioner backing and the engine block face). The seal is little more than a silicon bead pressed against the block face...I have often wondered if it would be worth applying RTV as a...

    Lash adjuster question

Yeah, I would suspect those that bleed down with pressure are not doing their job correctly. I am curious. How many of the 24 are soft and squeeze down to prime?

    Lash adjuster question

Actually, I just re-read your first statement. It sounds like these lash adjusters are 2-years old, so they should have been purged by the oil from the engine. It sounds like the soft ones are suspect bad.

    Lash adjuster question

The lash adjusters have a check valve in them and should be rock hard when filled with oil. If they bleed down with pressure, then the check valve is not doing its job. Now, that said, since you mentioned these are new ones, did you soak them in oil and bench bleed them by hand until hard...

    Brake Pads

The S197 14" 4-piston Brembos use the 1001 pad footprint. Same as the Honda Type R front Brembos. Hope it helps! Cheers!

    2010 V6 4.0L Vibration Issue, 1,400 & 2,800rpm

I don't see anyone giving advice, so I will throw another thought your way. Any chance this is a drone vibration from the exhaust system? Can you tell if the exhaust/muffler is original or aftermarket?

    2010 V6 4.0L Vibration Issue, 1,400 & 2,800rpm

Well that would disprove the driveline. I am not an expert on the V6 of this generation, but it does sounds like a harmonic and something is out of balance. Hopefully someone else can chime in on V6 know-how. Is this an automatic or manual?

    2010 V6 4.0L Vibration Issue, 1,400 & 2,800rpm

How's the pinion angle and drive shaft? Was the vehicle lowered to your knowledge?

    Electrical issue

I totally agree. Even worse if a cell was shorted in the battery, which I have seen it more than once when a alternator fails. I tend to replace the battery when an alternator fails, especially when the battery is a few years old. Critical components like these are just too expensive to have one...

    Electrical issue

AutoZone's alternators (duralast) are a crap shoot. The only good thing about them is the warranty, but you will be constantly changing them out from this point on, especially if running at high RPMs. Many, many reports of an alternator going bad right after installing, as these are...

    Melling M340HV oil pump thoughts?

Another valid option. The amount of ease is a matter of preference. The SJB isn't exactly easy to access, open, and pull the fuse from...maybe I'm just getting old.
